This past week we had to take photos with linear composition and then bring as many as we could to edit a 9x9 grid. However hard I tried I could not find the right pictures to bring into class, and I tried many many times to find the right set of photos to come to class and play with. I should say that I might've given up a bit. I was focusing on the part where Tina said linear. And I could not find anything perfectly linear. But I came to class with 40 something pictures and realized that I could cheat just a bit. Cutting up pictures was my resolve, and copying a single image was how I solved my situation, to make fun designs. This is my favorite solution, it was a photo I took, possibly sneaking into a building with fun pipe work and nice lighting. It is so fun to be so stumped, and then finally figure out what to do to get what you want. These images took me quite a bit of time to learn how to make. In the beginning it was very frustrating, but by the end I was smiling like a little kid.
