Last week we listened to Ephraim Russel talk. We have been asked to make up a question, and then create and answer in his "words."
Q: As human beings, living in an unnatural world, can we consider ourselves to be natural?
A: Humans are part of a built environment, but as independent beings we are natural, this idea makes me feel that we are not so corrupt.
Although my question/answer sucks. I liked some of the points he made.
He said that some things are visually described by their functionality.
I really liked the idea of the blackbox, and I think it is something as artists, if we are looking to make a profit as artist or in general this should be looked at.
